Donald J. Elmer
Managing General Partner

Since forming PHV in 1993, Don has compiled a very successful track record of over two-dozen investments in four separate funds. His sound judgment and investment instincts are the result of a thirty-year business career. His extensive operating experience came as a technology entrepreneur. He was the CEO of Cascadia Technology Corporation (medical electronics) and Cygnet Systems Corporation (software) between 1981 and 1992. This experience allows Don to evaluate the time and money required for any venture-stage company to reach its goals, and the progress needed to encourage new investors and partners to join with the company. He began his career at Price Waterhouse and later was Vice President-Planning at Holland-America Line/Westours.
